FBR sealed two sugar mills in central Punjab for serious violations of tax laws

LAHORE: According to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), this step has been taken in accordance with the government’s zero tolerance policy against violations of tax laws.

Strict implementation of sales tax laws will be ensured in high-risk sectors.

All enforcement measures are being taken in accordance with the law, ensuring transparency and prevailing legal procedures. A level playing field will be maintained for taxpayers who abide by the law.

Industries that voluntarily comply will be encouraged, and strict enforcement actions will continue against violations of tax laws.
