FC Balochistan seize factory manufacturing IEDs in Kharan

KHARAN: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan has successfully foiled a terrorist attack after an intelligence-based operation in the Kharan district in Balochistan on December 20.

As per the details, security forces carried out a successful operation and seized a factory manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

The factory has been manufacturing explosive materials intended for use in terrorist activities.

In addition to that, a motorcycle mounted with 30 kilograms of explosive material was also discovered, which was intended for use in a terrorist attack in Kharan.

An exchange of fire ensued during the operation between security forces and militants, resulting in the injury of two Khawarij.

The authorities also seized weapons and other materials related to the planned attack.

As a result of the timely action of FC Balochistan, the nefarious ambitions of the Khawarij and their facilitators were crushed.
