Federal govt announces massive hike in FC & Rangers salaries, equal to Pak Army

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to make the salaries of Rangers and FC equal to those of Pakistan Army, here on Thursday.

As per the details, on the recommendation of Interior Minister Syed Moshin Naqvi, the salaries of civil armed forces have been made equal to the Pakistan Army by Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.

The salaries of civil armed forces will increase by about 56 percent, but the increase in salaries will be different depending on the rank and average increase will be less.

The Ministry of Finance has approved the revised basic pay scale of 2024 for the Civil Armed Forces, under which the maximum increase in the salaries of Civil Armed Forces will be up to 55.76 percent or Rs31,810 a month.

The salary increase will be for Punjab Rangers, Sindh Rangers, FC North and FC South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FC North and FC South Balochistan, Pakistan Coast Guards, Gilgit Baltistan Scouts and Frontier Constabulary.
