ISLAMABAD: The federal government has endorsed the recruitment of over 3200 constables for the Federal Constabulary (FC).
The decision came after last month’s presidential ordinance, when the former Frontier Constabulary was transformed into a nationwide federal force.
The government has allocated provincial and regional quotas for the recruitment.
Each Province will get an equal quota of 20% making it 646 constables, followed by the 10% quota for Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 6% quota for Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
Islamabad Capital Territory will get 4% quota from the proposed 3200 constables for the Federal Constabulary (FC).
As part of the hiring process, candidates will need to pass written exams and physical fitness tests.
