FIA busts 12 in DG Khan for illegal BISP deductions

DG Khan: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided DG Khan and arrested 12 accused for illegal deductions from Benazir Income Support Program payments.

Officials said that FIA DG Khan officials conducted raids in Board Office, Kot Chatha and other areas to arrest 12 accused who were illegally deducting money from BISP payments.

“The accused were taking Rs 1000 to Rs 1500 as commission from the beneficiaries,” the officials said.

The accused have been identified as Sher Ali, Muhammad Aqib, Altaf Hussain, Ahmed Hassan, Imran Hussain, Muhammad Abrar, Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Akram, Sadiq Hussain, Atta Hassan, Nasrullah and Abuzar Abbas.

An FIA spokesperson said that the accused were caught red-handed for taking illegal commission.

The FIA ​​said that lakhs of rupees, national identity cards, cheque books and other items were recovered from the accused.

The investigating agency has registered cases against the accused and started further investigation.
