Gold price increases Rs1300 per tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan started the new trading week on a strong note as it registered an increase in line with rising global prices.

According to data shared by all Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Associations, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,300 to Rs423,862.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,115 to Rs363,392.

The price in the international market of precious commodities saw an increase of $13 where it is being sold at $4,015.

In the previous session, the price per tola saw a decrease of Rs1,600 and was sold at Rs422,562 on Saturday.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also fell by Rs 1,372 to Rs 362,278, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs 332,100 to Rs 332,100.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) started the trading session on a strong note, leading to a significant increase in early market activity.

The benchmark KSE-100 index rose by 2,026.92 points, or 1.25 percent, to 163,658.65 points, compared to the previous close of 161,631.73 points.

Market analysts noted that investor sentiment remained positive, leading to early buying in key sectors. The buoyant start reflected continued optimism among the business community as trading began for the day.
