ISLAMABAD: The Cybercrime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad has registered cases against dozens of journalists and vloggers who covered the November 24 protest of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), here on Friday.
As per the details, the accused named in the cases registered under the PECA Act have been charged with spreading false narratives against state institutions and inciting people
Journalists Harmeet Singh, Ahmed Noorani, Abdul Qadir, Hasnain Rafique, Salman Durrani, Imran Khatana, Maryam Shafqat Malik and Rizwan Ahmed Khan have been named in the cases.
