LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Alia Hamza on charges of spreading chaos against state institutions and misusing social media to spread fear among the public.
According to a notice issued by the FIA Cyber Crime Wing Islamabad, Alia Hamza has been summoned for questioning before a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) headed by the Additional Director General of the Cyber Crime Wing.
She has been directed to appear at the FIA Cyber Crime Wing Headquarters, National Police Foundation Office Building, Mau Avenue, G-10/4, on March 27 at 11 am.
The FIA has directed her to bring her original identity and any relevant evidence with her. Failure to appear will be deemed as no defence to be presented.
