ISLAMABAD: The skies over Islamabad echoed with the sound of fighter jets on Friday as flypast rehearsals were carried out ahead of the upcoming Marka-e-Haq anniversary celebrations.

According to officials, the special aerial exercise was conducted as part of preparations for the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, with multiple fighter aircraft performing coordinated maneuvers across different parts of the federal capital.

Residents witnessed the movement and formation flights of military aircraft during the scheduled rehearsal sessions, drawing attention across the city.

Authorities had earlier informed the public about the planned exercise, clarifying that the activity was part of routine preparations for the national commemoration event.
