RAWALPINDI: A young man was injured in a crossfire between two groups at McDonald’s, located in Rawalpindi’s Bahria Town Phase 7, police said.
According to the details, the firing incident took place on Wednesday in the jurisdiction of Rawat Police Station between two student groups of a private college.
The incident occurred when the students engaged in a harsh argument in college, which led to a violent fight at the restaurant late at night.
The injured youth, identified as Shah Mir Khan, was shifted to the nearby hospital.
As per details, two accused Bakhtawar Kiyani and Chaudhry Maisam entered the restaurant and opened fire on the warring group.
The firing has also caused severe damage to the vehicles parked in the parking lot of the restaurants and spread fear among the nearby residents of the housing society.
The police have registered the case against the accused and initiated the investigation.
