QAZIAN: A long-standing land dispute in the area of Qazian outpost of Gujar Khan police station resulted in one death and 3 people being seriously injured.
According to the details, a citizen named Raees Ahmed reported on 15 that there was a fight between the parties near the Jamia Masjid in Mohalla Zarian. During the incident, Qazi Kaleem and Qazi Haider allegedly opened fire, injuring Qazi Umair Sultan, Qazi Shafiq, Nazakat and Abdul Shakoor.
On receiving the information, the in-charge of Qazian outpost, Sub-Inspector Liaquat Ali Shah, along with a police contingent, immediately reached the spot. According to the initial police report, the clash took place due to a land dispute between the parties.
The police have collected evidence from the scene and further investigation into the incident is underway. Gujar Khan Police Station says strict legal action will be taken against those who take the law into their own hands.
