KARAK: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police conducted a joint operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district, killing five terrorists.
According to police, the operation was carried out in the Mir Kalam Banda area of Karak in the early hours following intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists in the area.
The bodies of the deceased militants have been shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Karak for identification and further investigation.
Police further stated that no personnel from CTD or police suffered any casualties during the operation.
