Four dead, several others injured in shooting incident in Charsadda

CHARSADA: Four people were killed and several others injured in a shooting incident in the Battagram police station area of ​​Charsadda.

According to local sources, there is intense tension in the area after the incident, and the shooting is still going on intermittently. According to reports, an armed clash broke out between the two groups.

As soon as the incident was reported, police and rescue teams reached the spot, and the injured were being shifted to a nearby hospital.

Police officials say that additional personnel have been called in to bring the situation under control and a search operation is being conducted by cordoning off the area.

The authorities have appealed to the citizens not to leave their homes unnecessarily and not to listen to rumors.

According to the administration, a thorough investigation will be conducted into the incident and strict action will be taken against those involved as per the law.
