Govt announces paid internship announced for women in KP

PESHAWAR: The KP Women Digital Internship Program 2025–26, which the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board has established, provides a six-month paid internship program that helps women acquire the essential expertise needed for digital work in technology fields.

The program will provide selected candidates with hands-on experience through work in leading domains, which include Artificial Intelligence, UI UX, Web Development, Application Development, Graphic Design, and Digital Marketing.

Under the initiative, interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000 throughout the six-month duration. The internship program will operate between two locations, which include IT Park companies throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and both the Digital Transformation Unit and KPITB headquarters, to provide participants with experience that matches industry standards.

Officials said the program creates pathways for professional growth in emerging technology fields while building technical skills to enhance women’s participation in the digital economy.

Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official portal at joinit.kp.gov.pk/list/jobs. The last date to apply for the KP Women Digital Internship Program 2025–26 is March 13, 2026.
