The Ramzan Nigehban Program 2026 has been launched to help low-income families before Ramadan. This welfare scheme is introduced by the Government of Punjab to reduce financial pressure during the holy month.
Under this initiative, eligible families will receive free ration and financial assistance. The aim is to support those struggling with rising living costs.
Selected households will get essential food items. These include flour, sugar, ghee, pulses, and rice.
Some families may also receive cash support. This will help them manage daily expenses during Ramadan.
The program mainly covers families already registered in welfare records, including the Benazir Income Support Programme and PSER survey.
Families must meet certain conditions to receive support. They should belong to low-income groups and have a valid CNIC.
Government employees are not eligible. Preference is given to widows, disabled persons, and daily wage workers.
Accurate personal information is necessary for approval.
Applicants can complete registration through the official Punjab government portal. They need to enter their CNIC number and submit the form.
Eligibility can also be checked by SMS. Send your CNIC number to 8070 using your registered mobile number.
If approved, you will receive a reply with further instructions.
The Ramzan Nigehban Program 2026 uses a digital system to ensure transparent verification and fair distribution.
Registration started in early 2026. Distribution is expected before Ramadan begins.
Applicants should apply early to avoid delays. The registration process is free of cost.
People are advised to avoid agents and rely only on official channels.
