BANNU: Four policemen were martyred in firing incidents in Lakki Marwat and Bannu.
According to the spokesperson of the Lakki Marwat police, unidentified motorcycle-borne terrorists opened fire in Sarai Naurang city, in which 3 traffic policemen on duty were martyred.
He said that in-charge traffic police Naurang Jalal Khan, constable Azizullah and constable Abdullah were martyred in the firing incident.
According to the spokesperson, the unidentified motorcycle-borne terrorists fled after the firing, the bodies of the martyred policemen have been shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sarai Naurang.
On the other hand, the Bannu police said that a policeman was martyred in firing by unknown persons in Mandan. Constable Rashid Khan was going from home to Mandan police station on duty when he was martyred in firing by armed persons.
