ISLAMABAD: The German Embassy in Islamabad has introduced the Consular Services Portal for every kind of employment visa. The embassy, in a statement, mentioned that the new system will accelerate processes and bring more visas.
“The portal will walk you through the application process and necessary documents: Please fill out the questionnaire in detail and make sure you upload all documents,” read the statement posted on Facebook.
It also announced that waiting lists are shut down currently and requested individuals to initiate their application on the portal if they have not been issued an appointment.
“Looking ahead, we will bring more visa categories onto the Consular Services Portal. This accelerates processes at the Embassy and allows for more visas we can process,” it stated.
The Pakistan applicants can apply for any work visa through the Consular Services Portal at this link: digital.diplo.de/visa
The Consular Services Portal offers a simple and secure online application process for entry and residence visas in Germany.
To start with, you must go to the Consular Services Portal and fill out the application form online, upload all supporting documents required, and submit these documents for initial checking.
Second, you have to wait for the initial review that is done to ensure everything is in order. If some information or documents are missing, then this will be clarified with you in person through the Consular Services Portal. In this manner, all will be spotlessly ready for your in-person interview at your German mission.
Third, a person–to-person appointment is scheduled to verify the applicant‘s identity and to take their biometric information (fingerprints and photograph). The applicant also makes payment on location.
Pakistani citizens can now apply online for all types of employment visas, including Skilled employment, EU Blue Card, Opportunity Card, Self-employment, and Recognition of your Pakistani degree.
