Girls severely injured after falling from Ferris Wheel at Sialkot fair

SIALKOT: In tragic news, two girls sustained serious injuries after falling from a Ferris wheel at a fair in Kotli Loharan, Sialkot.

As reported, this incident occurred because the girls were not protected properly in the safety system of this fun ride, and a video of this accident is widely available on social media sites.

The children were rushed to THQ Hospital, where doctors described them as being in a critical state.

Witnesses reported that fair organizers suddenly went into hiding following the event, making evident the poor organization and security present during events.

The people accused the organizers of operating unsafe and substandard rides, which put lives, especially children’s, in danger.

The locals were angry and in tears, wondering how a fair could continue without ensuring safety standards.

“This tragedy shows a lack of planning and organization,” a resident stated. “And another resident demanded ‘strong action against the authorities who allowed this event to take place.

No report from relevant authorities on this case has been released, nor have any charges against those involved been announced.
