LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to expand the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program, giving great news to those who are unable to get a home loan.
The aim of this initiative is to provide facilities to citizens who are unable to fulfill their dream of owning a personal residence due to financial difficulties.
According to officials, the scope of the program will be expanded to include more deserving people so that low and middle-income families can also get a house on easy installments. Under this scheme, citizens are provided loans on soft terms, with which they can build or buy their own house.
Sources say that the government is also introducing new measures to make the program more effective and transparent, while the application procedure is also being simplified so that more people can benefit from this facility.
The government says that this project is part of its commitment to provide a roof to the people and thousands of families are expected to get relief through it.
According to experts, the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program will not only bring improvements in the housing sector but will also promote the construction industry, which will create new employment opportunities and have a positive impact on the economy. Apart from this, this project will also play an important role in improving the quality of life of citizens.
The Punjab government says that providing the people with their own roof is one of its top priorities and the expansion of this program is a continuation of this commitment. The authorities are hopeful that this initiative will not only provide housing facilities to the homeless but will also help in social stability and economic development, which will usher in a positive change in the province.
