ISLAMABAD: The federal government, even after closing the Hajj application deadline on July 11, has now announced that it will also receive applications from unregistered pilgrims.
The decision has been made in an attempt to achieve the national Hajj quota. Official sources revealed that 450,000 people have applied for Hajj, but there are still fears that Pakistan might not be able to fulfill the entire 1.2 million pilgrims’ quota.
The government will now accept applications from unregistered people in response.
Registered pilgrims: Those who have already registered for Hajj 2026 can apply between August 4 and August 9.
Unregistered pilgrims: You can still apply between August 11 and August 16 if you could not apply before the deadline
Both sets of applications will be dealt with on a first-come, first-served basis.
