Govt declares public holiday on February 5

ISLAMABAD: The federal government of Pakistan has announced that Kashmir Day on February 5, 2026, will be observed as a public holiday nationwide, according to the official holiday notification issued by the Cabinet Division.

As per the details, this day joins other national public holidays including Pakistan Day (March 23) and Independence Day (August 14).
