ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has directed all JazzCash account holders to complete biometric verification.

JazzCash account holders need to complete biometric verification through the app or at a nearby authorized agent in order to keep their accounts active and avoid service disruptions.

Under the new regulation, JazzCash customers must verify their identity using biometric confirmation, either via the mobile app or at an agent location to maintain full access to their digital wallets.

Accounts that remain unverified may be blocked, restricting users from sending, receiving, or withdrawing funds.

Additionally, JazzCash is offering a Rs.100 reward to users who complete the biometric process promptly.
The move forms part of a broader effort by the central bank to strengthen digital financial security, reduce fraud, and ensure secure customer identification across mobile wallet platforms.
