Gujranwala court issues arrest warrant for Rana Sanaullah

GUJRANWALA: District and Sessions Court Gujranwala issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Rana Sanaulla, senior PML-N leader and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs.

Judicial Magistrate Sidra Gul Nawaz has issued warrants in the case registered at the Satellite Town police station and directed law enforcers to arrest and produce him before the court on December 12.

Rana has been summoned in the case that was registered on October 16, 2020, during the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) rally in Gujranwala which alleged that he removed containers and ran over police personnel.

Other PML-N leaders Khurram Dastgir, Imran Khalid, and Salman Khalid Butt have already been acquitted in the case, while the police submitted the challan of the case related to Rana Sanaullah late.
