ISLAMABAD: Christmas in Pakistan is a significant occasion for the country’s Christian community, which makes up about 1.5% of the population. Although Pakistan is an Islamic republic, Christmas is still a public holiday, and it’s observed on December 25th every year.

In Pakistan, Christmas preparations begin at the start of December, with many Christians decorating their homes, buying new clothes, and preparing special meals. Some families also attend church services, participate in carol singing, and engage in charitable activities.

On Christmas Eve, many Christians gather at church for midnight mass, and then return home to celebrate with their families. The next day, Christmas Day, is a time for feasting, gift-giving, and merriment. Many Christians in Pakistan also observe the holiday by attending church services, singing carols, and spending time with their loved ones.
