Heavy rain, strong winds predicted across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts widespread rain, strong winds, and thundershowers nationwide.

All regions, including Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar, Kashmir, Sindh, Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan, are expected to experience rainy weather.

In Islamabad and nearby areas, intermittent rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is forecasted.

Punjab will see strong winds, gusts, and intermittent rain with thunderstorms, with heavy rain expected in certain areas such as Murree, Galiyat, Lahore, Faisalabad, and others.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Swat, Peshawar, and surrounding areas, will experience intermittent rain with gusty winds and isolated heavy showers.

Sindh, including Karachi and Hyderabad, will have strong winds and intermittent rain with thunderstorms, with some areas facing heavy rainfall.

Balochistan will also experience windy conditions and thundershowers, with heavy rain anticipated in places like Quetta and Gwadar.

In Kashmir, intermittent rain with gusty winds is expected, while Gilgit-Baltistan will have partly cloudy skies with rain at isolated spots.
