PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government introduces a new housing scheme for its government employees to seek affordable housing solutions.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Housing Foundation and Housing Department the masterminding agencies are granting access to government employees for homeownership under this scheme.
Online registration has been started via the”Dastak” app, which will continue until March 25.
The online registration has been opened through a mobile application called “Dastak,” available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Notices on the scheme are to be displayed by all the government departments across the province to gain better publicity and participation. Employees will be able to download application forms and additional information via the “Dastak” app whereas more information and links to the online registration can be accessed from the Housing Department and KPITB websites.
According to the spokesperson of the Housing Department, “This scheme shows the government’s commitment toward the betterment of its employees,” adding that “By introducing the Dastak app, we have made it easier for employees to access this opportunity.”
The provincial government has advised that all eligible employees register during the specified period if they wish to avail the benefits from the scheme of housing.
