The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched the new version of its Pak Identity mobile app with the aim of further streamlining citizen registration services.
The new app, Pak ID Version 5.0.4, brings in some new features that enable users to update their mobile numbers and email addresses within the application.
Accordinge revised app, going to profile settings, and utilizing the edit option via mobile. After inputting the new number, a One-Time Password (OTP) is sent for confirmation. Upon entering the OTP, the number is updated successfully.
The same process is utilized to update email addresses.
Through the connection of an active mobile number to their NADRA profile, individuals can instantaneously receive alerts about their CNIC, family registration, and other aligned services.
It also ensures that essential alerts like renewal reminders, biometric verifications, and security confirmations are delivered on time. Updated contact details save citizens from identity document misuse and establish more dependable communication with NADRA.
The updated version is representative of NADRA’s continued efforts to digitize services and bring citizens more convenience through self-service options. More features, officials say, will be added to the Pak ID app to further increase accessibility and security for millions of users nationwide.
