IHC announces winter break for Islamabad district courts

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a notification for winter vacations in the district courts. With the approval of the Chief Justice, Registrar High Court Muhammad Yar Walana issued this notification.

According to the notification, the district courts of Islamabad will have holidays from January 1, 2026 to January 8, 2026, while the courts will reopen from January 9, 2026.

However, the court offices will remain open during the holidays and the hearings of urgent cases will continue as usual.
