Imran Khan named main accused in Prohibited Funding Case

ISLAMABAD: There has been a significant development in the prohibited funding case against PTI founder Imran Khan. The investigating authorities have filed a challan against PTI founder Imran Khan and others. In the challan, PTI founder Imran Khan has been named as the main accused in the prohibited funding case.

The Registrar’s Office has started the process of scrutinizing the challan. The hearing of the case is scheduled for tomorrow, which is being heard in the court of Islamabad Banking Court Judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar. It should be noted that 11 accused, including the PTI founder, are accused of funding party accounts from different countries through about 1800 transactions, in which alleged illegal funds of $ 2.1 million were received in the name of “Naya Pakistan”, while some of the money was also sent through a company called “Vote on Cricket Limited”.
