ISLAMABAD: The residents of twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi are facing issues with internet and mobile services connectivity.

The users have been facing difficulties in communication, like texting or calling their loved ones. The mobile and internet disruption is probably related to the Independence Day celebrations starting from tonight.

The mobile service suspension is a measure often used by the administration to maintain peace and security during such occasions where high-level delegations or civilians gather for functions.

However, the Islamabad administration has not issued any official notification regarding the internet and mobile service.
