ISLAMABAD: The Karachi Karsaz accident still dominates social media as the main accused, Natasha Danish, continues to top trends on X and other sites, as she was sent on judicial remand by a local court.
Natasha Danish, the woman behind the speeding SUV involved in a fatal crash, is still in custody but various posts are being shared online showing the famous businessman’s wife looking triumphant.
Hundreds of social media users shared the misleading photo of Natasha, which turned out to be an AI-generated image. The photo and caption shared by social media users claimed that Natasha was able to use her influence to get out of jail.
As per the media reports, there is no such development occurred Karachi. The photo shows Danish posing outside the court with a victory sign. In fact, Gul Ahmed Energy’s wife is still in custody after the tragic accident that took place on Karsaz Road, in which 60-year-old Imran Arif and his 22-year-old daughter Amna were killed and 3 injured.
Apart from social media users, veteran journalists of Pakistan like Hamid Mir, Asma Shirazi, Irshad Bhatti also shared the photo without confirming its authenticity.
Hamid Mir later stepped down but did not issue an explanation. Journalist Asma Shirazi also spread the wrong picture but later apologized after realizing her mistake.
A fresh update on the heart-wrenching incident has come to light as Abdul Salam, the Karsaz Road accident victim, is in a critical condition in a hospital in Karachi. His family is frustrated by the lack of government support and reported inadequate care during his initial treatment at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC).
The fatal accident took place on August 19 when Natasha, who was driving a luxury SUV, collided with several vehicles, killing 26-year-old Amna Arif and her 60-year-old father Imran Arif.
Mrs Danish faces charges of attempted murder, reckless driving and careless driving while the legal team is defending her, citing mental health issues.
