Islamabad weather forecast; PMD predicts rains & gusty winds from today

ISLAMABAD: Rain and gusty winds are expected over Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Wednesday evening/night, Thursday and Friday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), waves of moisture from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal affect southern and central parts of Pakistan.

In these conditions, wind/storm and thundershower at few places over Twin Cities and Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Northeast and South Punjab, Southeast Sindh and East Balochistan on Wednesday evening/night. It is possible. the next two days.

The maximum temperature in Islamabad is likely to be between 41 and 43 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 39 and 41 degrees Celsius on Friday.

Rawalpindi’s maximum temperature is expected to be between 41 and 43 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 39 and 41 degrees Celsius on Friday.

Meanwhile, the weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. However, Gupis received 03 mm, Mirkhani 02 mm with thundershowers.

Turbat and Jacobabad remained the hottest places in the country where the maximum temperature was recorded at 49°C. Maximum temperature in Dadu was recorded at 48°C, Sibbi, Lasbella, Khairpur at 47°C, and Rohri, Padidan, Noorpur Thal, Mohenjo-Daro, Larkana, Chhor and Bahawalpur at 46°C.

The maximum temperature recorded in Islamabad was 42 degrees Celsius. In the evening, humidity was recorded at 52%.

The maximum temperature recorded in Rawalpindi was 42 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity was recorded at 33% in the evening.
