ISLAMABAD: A bizarre incident occurred in Islamabad, where some unknown people pelted stones at a feeder routes bus, smashing its three window glasses near Bari Imam shrine on Friday.

According to the details, the CDA FR-4 bus (EV-075) was on its way from Bari Imam to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims).

When it reached the Muslim Colony Stop near Bari Imam, some unknown persons started the vehicle with stones. As a result, three window glasses were broken.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) officials confirmed that no one was injured. CDA officials suggested that these types of incidents happened in the past too where some unknown people pelted stones at metro buses.

“We are in the process of getting an FIR registered for this incident. Maybe some rowdy youth in the area is involved in this incident. But we will not ignore it; it’s a matter of concern for us and we want a thorough probe into the matter,” an official said.
