ISLAMABAD: Authorities in Islamabad have closed all hiking trails in the Margalla Hills indefinitely in view of the forecast of heavy rains.
The Deputy Commissioner Islamabad issued a notification on Monday announcing the closure, the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety.
According to the notification, no citizen will be allowed to access any of the trails until further notice. The district administration advised citizens to avoid unnecessary visits to the hilly areas during the rains.
