Islamabad Schools likely to get Winter Holidays from THIS date

ISLAMABAD: Schools in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad are in the midst of a winter vacation from December 21, with students eagerly awaiting the announcement.

Amidst a major temperature drop, parents and students are waiting for the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) to announce the winter vacations for 2024.

The Federal Directorate of Education will announce the winter vacations for schools and colleges as these holidays are usually announced a week before the holidays.

Islamabad School Winter Holidays 2024

This year, the winter vacations are from December 21 to December 29, with classes expected to resume on December 30.

There is also speculation that the winter vacations are being extended again to December 31, with schools set to reopen on January 1, 2020. However, as of now, the FDE has not taken any decision.

In 2023, the Federal Directorate announced season holidays from December 25 to December 31.
