Islamic University Islamabad student shot dead in private hostel

ISLAMABAD: A female student of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was shot dead in a private hostel in the federal capital on Sunday.

According to the police, an unknown youth entered the hostel at 12:15 pm yesterday and shot the girl in the presence of three roommates.

According to the victim’s brother, her  22-year-old sister opened the room after it was knocked out by the accused.

“When my sister came out of the room, the unknown accused forcibly entered the room and shot my sister,” he told police.

Ramna Police Station has registered the case and started an investigation.
