ISLAMABAD: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new anthem titled, “Kashmir Banay Ga Pakistan”, to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day, which will be observed on February 5 (Wednesday).
The nation observes Kashmir Solidarity Day every year with national zeal and zest to show solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) for their struggle for self-determination.
The anthem features the vocalist Ahmed Jahanzeb, while the music was given by Irfan Saleem and Kamran Allah Khan, and the lyrics were penned by Imran Raza.
The song, released by the military’s media wing, resolves firmly that the whole Pakistani nation stands with the brave and resilient Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The anthem starts with late Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani’s historic speech, “Islamically, Pakistan is ours, and we are Pakistan.”
On Kashmir Solidarity Day, conferences, demonstrations, human chains, and events related to the day are staged across the country and worldwide shedding light on the atrocities committed by Indian troops to sabotage the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination.
