The arrested terrorists include Jalil Ahmed alias Farid son of Muhammad Noor, Niaz Qadir alias King son of Qadir Bakhsh, Hamdan alias Farid son of Muhammad Ali. The terrorist plan was exposed due to the continuous surveillance and extraordinary vigilance of the agencies.

The recovered explosives were safely defused in the Hub area outside the city. Numerous precious lives were saved with the recovery of more than two thousand kilograms of explosives. The terrorists had planned to target civilian targets in Karachi.

The terrorists had rented a house 35 to 40 kilometers from Karachi. Intelligence agencies monitored it with human and technical means. The operation was kept completely secret. Extraordinary precautions were taken to prevent panic among the public. Booby traps and possible threats were closely examined during the operation.

During the operation, explosives in more than 30 plastic drums and five metal gas cylinders were recovered. According to initial investigations, the explosives were brought from Afghanistan to Balochistan and then to Karachi.

According to evidence, the network was being operated from neighboring countries. Terrorist groups working under Indian interests were behind the plan. Indian proxies BLA and BLF use safe havens in Afghanistan.

There is evidence linking the fabric of the terrorist network to Bashir Zeb, BLA, Fitnatul Hindustan and Majeed Brigade, urea-based explosives are used for terrorism, disrupting the supply chain of explosives is the top priority of the security agencies.

Local facilitators help terrorists in exchange for petty financial benefits, terrorists use residential homes for hiding and preparing explosives, strict monitoring and effective checking of the housing tenancy system is indispensable.

Strict enforcement of laws on illegal use of urea and other chemicals is a must, law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies are determined to completely eradicate terrorism. All those responsible for the terrorist plan are being hunted down, more details will be revealed soon.
