Governor Kamran Tessori announces Iftar for 1 million & land lottery for Ramadan

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has announced that arrangements have been made to provide Iftar dinner to over one million people during the holy month of Ramadan. Additionally, a lottery will be held daily to award a plot of land to a selected individual.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Governor Tesori said that special preparations have been made at the Governor House for Ramadan. He stressed that this is the third consecutive year that the Governor House has hosted such an event, adding that the stage set up for the occasion is unlike any other in Pakistan.

He further revealed that the event will include a Khatam-ul-Quran ceremony, and under the Ittehad-Ramadan initiative, individuals will have the opportunity to register to participate. A special Ramadan transmission will also be launched from the Governor House.
