PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a strike across the province tomorrow against the biased behavior of the federal government.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will protest against the biased and unfair policies of the federal government tomorrow and a strike will be held across the province.
In this regard, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi says that the federation is discriminating against the province in the NFC award, electricity and gas issues.
The KP Chief Minister said that the federation is deliberately targeting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because the province is ruled by founder PTI Imran Khan.
Sohail Afridi announced that a strike will be held across the province on Wednesday, May 6, but emergency services will be exempted from it.
He further said that the federal attitude is inhumane, not allowing Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi access to personal doctors and not allowing them to meet their families and lawyers is illegal and a violation of basic human rights.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa appealed to lawyers who uphold the constitution and law to participate fully in the strike.
