In a recent announcement, the caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has revealed the winter vacation plan for both public and private educational institutions, delineating the break schedule for the academic year 2023-24.
From December 23 to 31, educational institutions in plain areas are slated for a winter break, providing students and faculty with a short but rejuvenating pause.
Classes are set to resume on January 1, 2024, allowing for a vibrant start to the new year.
In hilly or snowy areas, schools will experience an extended winter break from December 23, 2023, to February 29, 2024.
Students and educators in these regions can enjoy an extended respite to embrace the winter season. Post this period, institutions will reopen their doors on March 1.
Following the same winter break pattern, universities in plain areas are scheduled to remain closed from December 23 to 31, syncing with the break observed by other educational institutions.
In hilly areas, universities will share the extended winter vacation, closing from December 23, 2023, to February 29, 2024.
