KP govt launches Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme, check eligibilty criteria inside

PESHAWAR: In a groundbreaking move, the khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced ”Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme” to support lower and upper middle class families through offering interest-free loans for the construction, renovation, or expansion of their homes.
According to the Housing Department spokesperson, only the eligible families will be able to receive interest free loans of up to 1.5 million, a seven years time limit for the repayment.

The KP governmnet has allocated a total of Rs 4 billion has been allocated for the scheme with the maximum monthly installment capped at Rs 18,000.

Eligibility Criteria 

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a monthly income of at least Rs100,000

  • Own a piece of land

  • Be aged between 18 and 55 years

Last Date to Apply

The last date to apply for the Ehsaas Apna Ghar Loan Scheme is the 8th of next month.
