PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government says that Captain (retd) Safdar and his wife, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, have the facility of health card in the province.

Special Assistant on Information Shafi Jan, while speaking in the KP Assembly session, said that Captain (retd) Safdar is a citizen of the province, so he has the facility of health card, while Maryam Nawaz also has the same facility because she is his wife.

Reacting to the allegations of corruption against the provincial government, Shafi Jan said that the allegations will not work. If there is evidence of corruption, then bring it to the fore. We spent a huge amount of money on health card in 2 years. Even today, this card is running in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

He further said that in KP, Rs 1 million and medicines are being given free on health card. Look at our performance of 12 years and our own performance. We are not getting our share in NFC. Chief Minister Sohail Afridi fought the case of the people and the province. Take a survey and see that the performance of the KP government is excellent.

He said that today the Pakistan People’s Party is talking about corruption, which is a sign of doomsday. Bhutto is alive in Sindh, but the people are dying.
