PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a special Ramadan package to help deserving families during the holy month of Ramadan.

In this regard, the government has also introduced a regular online portal where citizens can verify their names to see if they are eligible for this package or not.

According to the information released by the provincial government, deserving individuals can check their names by visiting the website https://dcpramadan.kp.gov.pk.

This portal has been specially developed for this purpose so that the public does not need to visit offices, and they can get information about their eligibility through a few simple steps while sitting at home.

Citizens go to the website and enter their identity card number, after which the system immediately tells them whether they have been selected for the Ramadan package or not.

The government says that under this Ramadan package, thousands of deserving families will be provided with financial assistance and essential items.

Through this program, an attempt is being made to make access to basic food items like flour, sugar, ghee, and other essential items easier so that even low-income people can meet their needs better during Ramadan.

According to the authorities, the eligible persons for this package have been selected on the basis of various socio-economic data so that the assistance reaches the real needy people.

To ensure transparency in this process, an online checking system has been introduced, which reduces the chances of any kind of error or ambiguity.

Citizens have been instructed to get information only through the official website and not to trust any unverified sources.

According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, this Ramadan package is an important step to help the weaker sections of society, and its aim is to ensure that no family is deprived of necessities during Ramadan.

The government has also appealed to the public to inform the relevant authorities if they know of any deserving person whose name is not included in the list, so that they can also be helped.

Officials say that providing information through the online portal will not only increase transparency but also make the process of providing assistance to deserving people more effective and faster.
