ISLAMABAD: The residents of twin cities are witnessing severe traffic jams on various main highways and roads, which have disrupted the traffic flow in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

A severe traffic jam is being observed at Zero Point to Faizabad and PWD, causing citizens to be stuck in traffic for hours. The main reason behind all this congestion is that several VIP movements are undergoing in the federal capital.

Due to the unusual congestion of vehicles on the main highways, the flow of traffic on the Expressway, Kashmir Highway, and other important routes was severely affected

Commuters going to offices, educational institutions, and markets faced severe difficulties, while the movement of ambulances was also affected at many places.

Citizens demanded that the traffic police and the administration immediately ensure the implementation of the traffic control plan so that such situations can be avoided in the future.
