LHC rejects bail applications of Imran Khan in 9th May cases

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the bail applications of PTI founder Imran Khan in 8 cases of May 9, according to media reports.

A 2-member bench headed by Justice Shahbaz Rizvi ruled on the applications by rejecting the bail application of the former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the 9th May cases.

Earlier, the Lahore High Court had reserved its decision on the bail applications of the PTI founder in the May 9 cases.

A 2-member bench headed by Justice Shahbaz Ali Rizvi of the Lahore High Court heard the applications during which the relevant authorities appeared in the court.

PTI founder Imran Khan had filed bail applications in 8 cases on May 9, on which the court reserved its decision after the hearing.

It should be noted that cases of burning and besieging Jinnah House and Askari Tower have been registered against the PTI founder.

The PTI leadership has expressed dissatisfaction over the verdict of the Lahore High Court in the May 9th cases.
