LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced an internship program for the youth associated with the veterinary sector. Under this project, veterinary graduates and paravets from across the province will be provided with practical training as well as financial assistance.
According to officials, the program will cost a total of Rs 60 crore. The aim of this initiative is to provide practical experience to the youth and prepare them for better employment opportunities.
Under the program, veterinary graduates will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 60,000, while paravets will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 40,000. This financial assistance will be given during the internship so that the youth can easily meet their expenses.
According to the report, 264 seats have been allocated for veterinary graduates this year, while a quota of 371 posts has been kept for paravets. This opportunity is being considered important for eligible candidates across the country.
The government has also extended the last date for submission of applications. Now candidates can submit their applications till May 15, 2026.
To apply, candidates have to visit the Punjab Government website www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk
and complete the online form. It is mandatory to upload the necessary documents along with the form.
