Massive forest fire erupts in Murree

MUREE: A fire broke out in the forest of Daryagali adjacent to Murree, engulfing a large area.

Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the severe fire was brought under control by taking immediate action.

She said that Rescue 1122, fire brigade, district administration, police and forest department took immediate action. An investigation will be conducted into the incident and the reasons will be ascertained.

The senior provincial minister appreciated the officers and staff of the concerned departments for their timely action.
