PISHIN: While addressing a crowd in Pishin, Balochistan, the president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Mulana Fazul-ur-Rehman, strongly criticized the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for whether they are actually following the footsteps of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

During his speech, Maulana stated that  I say that the unanimous constitution of Pakistan was made under the leadership of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, but it is a matter of regret that today, if this constitution is being distorted before your eyes, and the rights of the provinces are being destroyed, then tell me whether you are really following the path of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto?

Today, when we talk about the Eighteenth Amendment and the protection of provincial autonomy, why is the PPP silent, and what weakness is it showing? Mulana questioned.

He further stated that ‘We stand with you for the rights of the provinces, then why are you backing down and making deals? The Jamiat will protect this constitution till the last moment.
