Mehak Malik among 35 booked over obscene wedding dance

BAHAWALPUR: A case has been registered against 35 people, including renowned dancer Mehak Malik, over an obscene dance performance at a mehndi ceremony in Yazman Tehsil of Bahawalpur.

According to Bahawalpur police, currency notes were showered during the dances, and laws regarding the use of loudspeakers and sound amplifiers were violated during the ceremony.

The police registered the case against Mehak Malik and a local citizen, Zeeshan alias Shani, and others in the case.

According to sources, the suspects nominated in the case include some government employees, including a police constable.

Alongside them, ten other individuals have been nominated, with several more unidentified suspects included in the investigation.
